I am researching the Pruitt Family from South Carolina to Georgia to Alabama to Hancock County, Mississippi in 1850 to Freestone County, Texas in 1860 to Limestone County, Texas in 1870. The earliest Pruitt ancestor that I have located is John Pruitt born @1811 in South Carolina married Artemessia "maybe maiden name Shaw" born Nov, 1817 Georgia. They had the following children:
