Researching Surnames Rickard, Geer, Oestrich, Deck (Dech), McCulle (Culle, Cull), Prucnal, Capaccio, Primavera.
The Rickard, Geer, Deck, and Oestrich families are all located in the Delaware and Sullivan County New York area.
o The Rickards came from Schoharie County and originally rom Germany
o The Geer's came from Connecticut and originally from England (George Geer).
o The Oestrich family came from Germany (Hesse) in about 1865.
o The Deck's also came from Germany in the mid-1800's, but I don't know what part of Germany they were from. The name was probably originally spelled Dech.

The McCulle family came from Ireland in the late 1800's and settled in Buffalo, New York. In Ireland, the name did not have the "Mc" prefix and may have been "Coll".

The Prucnal family came from Trzebos, Poland around 1900 and eventually also settled in Buffalo.

The Capaccio and Primavera families came from Italy (probably Naples area) and may have arrived at Ellis Island around 1896. They originally settled in Philadelphia, but some moved to New York City and then to Meriden, Ct.
