From Silas Pruden who moved to Athens, Ohio in 1815 and all his descendants who have spread out across the United States. Silas is the GGG Grandson of Peter Prudden who founded Milford, Connecticut in 1638.
The Prudden family originally from England, changed their last name to Pruden in protest against their English ancestry during the Revolutionary War.
Silas Pruden's wife Mary Bingham is the GGG Granddaughter of Myles Standish who came across the Mayflower.
This website is dedicated to them and their family.
