IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY "NANNA" - ETHEL BESSETTE

I have been researching my family for over 20 years. I have been quite successful in tracing my maternal Grandmother's line, The Vanderhoof's and the Isham's, as well as my maternal Grandfather's history, which includes the Fortier's.

I have slowly begun my paternal Grandmother's side, the Fullers and the Ploof's, as well as my paternal Grandfather's history, the Bessette's.

I am currently seeking information on the Begins Family of Canada, as well as the Devoid family of Canada/Vermont. (I would appreciate any help anyone may be able to share.)

Although my husband thinks Genealogy is "voodoo", I also am seeking any information on the Pully/Cottrell family of Michigan.

I will be uploading my family tree to this area soon,(just got this new version and am still fine-tuning) - so check back often.

(87 KB) If you were wondering, I have traced my family back using my youngest son Jordan as a starting point. (It is just a coincidence that my other two sons accuse him of being my favorite). But - mother's pride forces me to point out he is captain of the Varsity Football team this year. Anyway, here you will find a picture of ALL THREE of my sons, and I am equally proud of all of them. Wallace and Gertrude Bessette (54 KB) This is a photo of my great grandparents on their 40th wedding anniversary. They later went on to celebrate their 65th! Wallace worked at the Chittenden Cider Mill in Vermont until his 93 birthday, and was profiled in the local newspaper for this achievement. My Dad (48 KB) My father, Gary Devoid. This is a portrait done when he was a youngster.
