Caleb Pyle decendants in America

We have been attempting to fill in some gaps to the Caleb Pyle history after arriving in America. We have had some success in this venture. However if anyone has any ideas upon how to locate information on immigrants to America in the 1820's please let me know. Apparently Calebs parents died aboard ship and we can not locate any records of their voyage across the
ocean.

We are also in need of updating current generations(grandchildren, spouses, deaths, marriages...) Please email with information.
