My name is Nathan Ward Pyles. I am quite a novice at genealogy and therefore much of the information I have in this published genealogy is not verified. However, the whole point of me publishing this is to ardently attempt to see if indeed my records are correct. This genealogy is an attempt to discover all my relatives, not just one particular line, i.e. The Pyles family. My goal is to in time know with certainty all 128 of my great great great great grandparents and the subsequent generations germane to my direct lineage. As it looks most of my ancestors go way back into Colonial America. However, in the year 1800, I had 4 great great great great grandparents in England, and 8 great great great great grandparents in Ireland. (This is reasonable speculation on my part. I do NOT know his for certainty.) The rest of my family are both rooted in New England and in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. I have traced many of these families back well before 1700. |
