Notes for Jacob Bledsoe:

Jacob Bledsoe appears in Orange Co., N.C. deeds and records as of 1759 thru 1763; then in Johnston Co. 1763 - 1769; and in Wake Co.,N.C. 1772 -1817. These Dates correspond to the date of County formation in this area and Jacob Bledsoe may not have moved. Maude Kelly sayes he did not move.
Quoting (BOT); In those years there were three Jacob Bledsoe's in this area:
Jacob Bledsoe, son of Abraham Bledsoe.
Jacob Bledsoe, Jr. son of previous Jacob Bledsoe.
Jacob Bledsoe, son of Aaron Bledsoe This Jacob's Brother.
In some cases it is difficult to distinguish between the three.
Jacob Bledsoe, Jr. became 21 in 1783, and Aaron's son in 1785, so it would appear that all records of a Jacob prior to 1783 would must apply to this Jacob.
