| Gallia County, Ohio. 1796 - 1800. Daniel Faulkner and his wife Nancy Colvin Dunlap were the first settlers in Greenfield Township, Gallia County, Ohio. Daniel built the first grist mill in the area. One of his daughters, Virginia Jane (Jenny) was the first white person married in the area. Other children were: John Faulkner, Andrew Faulkner, James Faulkner, Isabella Elisabeth Faulkner, Agnes Faulkner, Margaret (Peggy) Faulkner, Anne Faulkner, Sally Faulkner and William Faulkner. |
