Notes for Rosalia Sophia Snouwaert: Mrs. Rosa Bossaer passed away at her home, 109 W. Washington street, Thursday morning at 1 A.M., following a long illness. Rosa Snouwaert Bossaer was born October 28, 1865 in Santa Kruis, Holland, the daughter of Bernardus and Clementia Verhey Snouwaert. On April 30, 1892, she was married to Sebastian Bossaer, who preceded her in death August 20, 1943. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Sylvia at home, and Mrs. Virgil Peterson, living east of Attica; three sons, Joe, John and Frank of near Attica; two brothers, Leo Snouwaert of east of Attica, and Charles Snouwaert of Niles, Michigan, and a sister, Mrs. Lena Pearl, of Oran, Iowa. Three children proceeded her in death. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The body was taken to the De Sutter Funeral Home and returned to the family residence Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held from the St. Francis Xavier church Saturday morning at nine o'clock. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery with R. A. De Sutter in charge.
