Covington- Alice C. McKinney, 93, died at 9:10 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at Provena USMC Logan Campus, Danville, Illinois. Born January 27, 1910, in Sheffield, Pennsylvania, she attended the Warren Conservatory of Music in Warren, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland. When she retired she was the public health nurse for Fountain County. Mrs. McKinney was active in the United Methodist Church in Covington, the Women's Club and the Fountain County Historical Society. her marriage was to Lawrence McKinney of Wingate on September 20, 1936 in Akron Ohio. He proceeded her in death in April 1999. Survivors are her children, Pearce McKinney (wife:Alice) of Wingate and Anne Huston of Laguna Niguel, California.
