Hi! I am researching surnames in Southeastern Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. I have a database of 8,788 individuals and 20,385 text records. For example, " John Quinn came to America in 1842 from Larchfield (Larkfield) Parish in Antrim County, Ireland where he was born. He worked for the B & O Railroad and stopped in Vinton County Ohio. While there he married Mary Jane Bryson, the daughter of Abraham Bryson and Nancy McKee Bryson. He served in the Civil War 18th Infantry, Co. H. John died in 1921 and is buried in Athens County, Ohio in the New Marshfield Cemetery." I am a member of "First Families of Athens County, Ohio"; and the Athens County Genealogical Society. I am the volunteer lookup person for many indexes at the Ohio Gen Web internet site for Athens County, Ohio; a member of Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War; and a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society. I have a bachelor's degree in education and psychology from the University of Akron.I am the coordinator of the Josiah Lee, Anna Rebecca Whaley, Rhoda Adams, and William Campbell family reunion held annually the second Sunday in September.
