SPITZNOGLE - SPITSNOGLE - SPITZNAGEL - SPITZNAGLE - SPITZNAUGLE - SPITZNOGGLE - Spitznogle's Unite!!! So far, it appears the family line emanates from a George Spitznogle from the Pennsylvania area in the late 1790's (guestimated). Their children were: George, John, Mary, Florence and Gayle Spitznogle. The son, George Spitznogle married Nancy Jane Sawer (Sawyer). Their children were: Emma, Lorenzo, John H. Spitznogle, Jacob, (Isaac?), Mary C. Spitznogle, George W. Spitznogle, Nancy J. Spitznogle and (Amanda?).
At the Elwood Spitznogle junction, the Hoover line merges through Ellen Josephine Hoover. She was the first cousin of Herbert Clark Hoover, the 31st President of the United States.

Please go into the descendants of George Spitznogle Report below and take a look. E-mail me please, with any information you may have.

A big THANK YOU to Sam Ross Fuller of Pennsylvania for providing several dozen new Spitznogle relatives along with dates. Laura Spitznogle of Indiana has a Conrad Spitznogle (born: 1858) lineage, but without much date information and I haven't been able to find a linkage with the current Spitznogle list yet. I want to make our family tree more accurate and as time passes it will with all our help. Thanks again!

We have a great family history. One more tidbit. There is a Millard Spitznogle, son of Lorenzo and brother to Elwood, who married Dora Alice Townsend. The Townsend line from Dora is traced back over two thousand years! Let's have fun!
