I am currently researching Brown, Latson, Radford, Sigler, Smith, Vickery. The Radford's, Brown's and Vicery's have deep roots in Alabama. My gggrandfather Samuel Radford appears on the 1850 census in Pontotoc county Mississippi, which states that he was born in Tennessee cir. 1819 married to Ann age 22. I have been unable to find any further information about his Tennessee heritage and would appreciate any help. The Latson's, are predominately from Ohio and Indiana.
The Smith's have been traced to the Saratoga N.Y. area and eventually to Michigan. Currently we are searching for the parents of James Smith b. abt. 1762 d. July 23, 1838, m. Ruth ? b. abt. 1762, d. November 28, 1804; also married to Philletta ? b. abt. 1769, d. February 7, 1841. James is Buried at Halfmoon near Saratoga, N.Y.
The Sigler's are from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
