Researching my extensive family history, currently concentrating especially on the Ingersoll family. My Ingersoll family line includes my great-great grandfather Hon. John Carter Ingersoll 1860-1903 who served as a U.S. consul in Copenhagen and Cartagena; his father Illinois Representative Ebon Clark Ingersoll 1831-1879 who served in the 38th through the 41st U.S. Congresses; Clark's brother Robert G. Ingersoll, "infamous" orator and "freethinker" of the 19th century; and their father Reverand John Ingersoll 1792-1859, a fire and brimstone abolitionist of the early 19th century.

Also preparing for an upcoming Royer family reunion in Capon Springs, West Virginia this coming June!
