| Trees are off line, email me for sharing. My Rains line starts in 1700's Caroline Co.VA, migrates to Randolph Co. NC, to Warren Co. TN, to IN. Many other members went to MO, IA, ID, LA, TX, OH, AL, AR, and many other states. My line includes George b. abt. 1750 VA, Joab, James Alfred, George Washington, Henry Clay, Charles Henry, Flold Millard Rains, Robert Raines, David Raines. This is my direct line. Asahel Rains was the son of George Rains and brother of Joab. Emory Rains is my first cousin, 7 times removed, a grandson of George Rains. We are in the Rains DNA project and most willing to share and work together. My Goodnight line comes from Germany and I am interested in working the line in Indiana first. My Braken/Brakin lines start in TN, KY, and into IN. This line show up both on my fathers and mothers side of my family. Sowders line started in VA, but I am most interested in working KY and IN at this time. |
