William Bailey Raines 
Bill was born 1819 . 1 census says Ga and the rest say Ala. 
he was raised in Walker Co Ala BUT he could have been born in Ga as it appears that his parents James and Milla Barton Raines moved to Ga for a short time after their marraige in Lawrence co Ala in 1818.

He Married Elizabeth K. Kennymore in 1841-42 in Walker Co Ala.
in 1850 they were living in Jefferson Co but moved back to Walker Co Shortly after the census. 
Bill and Elizabeths children were all born bt 1843-1854 i Walker Co ;
they were;
[1] Mary 1st married Christopher Colombus Loggains, son of Major T. and Sarah Mullins Loggains 1867 in Walker Co   #2 George Haskins 1870s in Boone Co Ark
[2] Pamela Priscilla maried John W. Haskins  son of Hamilton and Charity Gibson Haskins 
[3] Rispa Francis married Carroll Loggains,son of Major and Sarah Mullins Loggains
[4] Milly married Steven Loggains ,bro to Major Loggains 
[5] Robert married Louisa Jane Haskins,dau of Hamilton and Charity Gibson Haskins 
[6] James William [Bud] married Hannah Loggains, dau of Major  and Sarah Mullins Loggains
[7] John Allen married Mary Elizabeth Bly 
 they left Ala in 1868-69 and stopped in Tenn then arrived in Boone Co Ark in Mar 1870.
 By 1880 Elizabeth had died and Bill was living in Taney Co Mo with his dau and son-in-law Mary and George Haskins.
he died there in 1881.
