         Samuel Mc Elroy 
Samuel Mc Elroy was born may 27 1740 in Va. he was the son of James and Sarah Mc Cune Mc elroy.
His Father,James was born in County Down Ireland in 1708 and came to America on the ship George and Mary     May 8 1729. He Married Sarah in 1729 and first settled in backs county Penn then to cumberland co Va where they raised their family.

Samuel died 1806 in Lebonen Ky.
He Married Mary Irvine in 1766
They were the parents of 13 Children. 2 of these children died young.
