George Washington Raines
i know very little about George W except what was on the 1830-40 census.and the 1840 walker co ala tax list.
1840 census shows he was bt 80-90 yrs old
wife was bt 70-80 yrs old 
they were living with their son Robert.
on the 1840 tax list of walker co Ala the son,Robert had signed as Agent for his Father G.W. Raines.
 they were not on the 1850 Ala census but as they were very elderly that had died in Walker Co by then.

Not Proven: may have been in 1820 washington co Ga.as Washington Raines
 may have had at least 2 more brothers  Allen and William.
