| In the genealogy world we are babies, but in our own families, we are pioneers exploring unknown and undiscovered territory! Who knew that there were such rich treasures of family history and family connection waiting to be discovered -- both in a fascinating world of ancestors and history, as well as in a rich and vibrant web of connection and relationship with our living extended family. What a wonderful treasure to bring into the new Millennium, and a most appropriate legacy to leave for those who will live there. I hope that you will find here bits of interest and perhaps even a treasure or two; and I'd be most happy if you are able to contribute a treasure or a bit of interest, too. We are looking down family lines that include the Conklin, Dobsch and Dodge, Eyermann, Leber, McCauley and McDowell names, as well as Raines, Rymer, Schorsch, Stovall and Temme -- not necessarily in that order! Come on in and explore; we are learning more about ourselves and our family history all the time, and hope to update this page in a timely manner. I close with a prayer for All of our Relations, 2-footed, 4-footed, winged, and otherwise. This, too, is a most appropriate gift to bring to the new Millennium. Mitakuye Oyasin. jeanne |
