SIMON HADLEY & WIFE RUTH FROM MOATE MTG., CO. WEST MEATH, RECEIVED 6 MO 4, 1716. THEY CAME FROM IRELAND CA 1712, SETTLED IN NEW CASTLE CO., NEAR NEW GARDEN LINE. A HOUSE WHICH HE ERECTED IN 1717 WAS STILL STANDING IN 1881. CHILDREN: JOSEPH B 8M 25, 1698; DEBORAH B 2M 25, 1701; JOSHUA B 3M 6, 1703; SIMON B 12M 23, 1704; D 11M 4, 1730; HANNAH B 11M 16, 1709; RUTH B 12M 6, 1711; KATHERINE B 2M 25, 1715; ANN B 12M 7, 1717.
