|In the BORTON line , I have been fortunate enough to have traced the family back to England in 1554. But of course, I want more! Can YOU answer any of these questions or point me in the right direction?I would like more information on the BORTON's that were left behind in England when John BORTON(b. 1633) brought his family to BURLINGTON NJ in 1679.
Do you know anything about the Griffin(the ship they came over on)?
What happened to William BORTON(b. 1668) after he married Hannah COLE in 1699?
I am descended from a BORTON branch that stayed in NEW JERSEY. Who else did?
I am also very interested in any "stories" that you may have.
Now for the rest of the lines - I have not been able to get past the information that my grandmothers gave me years ago.
