| I'm researching the surnames Emmons,Horn,Rhodes,McCaigue(McCague),Elliott,Ralston,Drew,Urwiler,Carrick. All in the Philadelphia Pa area. Germantown especially. 1800 & 1900's. Also McCaigue/Logan/Elliott in Renovo Pa 1860"s to late 1880's. Charles Emmons married Mary Hogan in 1845 in Philadelphia. Their son George married Ida Horn. Their son Gordon(last of 14 children)married Margaret Rhodes in 1927 in Philadelphia. Margaret's mother was the daughter of Samuel McCaigue & Susan Hamilton. The McCaigue family lived in Renova Pa from 1860 to the late 1880's, then moved back to Philladelphia. Both Charles Emmons & Samuel McCaugue were Cival War Veterans. Charles Emmons was in Co E, 106th Infantry and Samuel McCaigue was in Co E, 183rd Infantry. Any information would be greatly appreciated and of course I'd be most happy to share any information I have. |
