Frank Bahm was born 1887 in Odessa, Russia, and died October 25, 1979 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. He married Katherine Schmidt on 1914 in New Salem, North Dakota, daughter of Joseph Schmidt and Margaret Rienboldt.

Frank Bahm was born in Odessa, Russia in 1887, and came with his parents to North Dakota, USA when he was only a few month old.
He married Katherina Schmidt in Hazen, North Dakota in February, 1914. Katherina was born in Hazen, North Dakota and lived there until she married.
In 1922 Frank and Katherina with a family of four children, Florence, Walter, Harold, and Evert moved to Canada and settled on the Harrison and Sirett farm at salvador, Sask. As the years passed, Frank was the elevator agent at both Broadacres and Tramping Lake before moving to the Hoffart farm three miles northeast of Broadacres. During that time Margaret, Christian, Magdalena, rosina, Freeda, Delora, and Gordon were born.
In 1948 Frank and Katherina moved to the Hugh Laing farm three and a half miles south of Keeobert. Evert had benn working in Kerrobert before this time. Chris, Freeda, Delora, and Jock (Gordon) accompanied their parents to this farm.
They farmed until 1974 with the help of their son Jock. They became ill about the same time, and as nursing homes were far and few between, Frank was taken to the nursing home at Leader until Kerobert Buena Vista was opened. He was brought back to Kerrobert where he spent the remainder fo his years. He died October 25, 1979 at the age of 92.
Katherina lived with Delora for a short time, then rented the Anglican Church Manse and lived alone there for two years. She then suffered a stroke and was unable to stay alone so she again moved in with Delora for a time until there was a vacancy at the Buena Vista Lodge.
Kate resided at the lodge until May 12, 1990 when she passed away. While at the lodge she enjoyed crocheting and sewing for many years, as well as the many people who dropped in for visits with her.
