| Kretsinger, Bark, Owens, Townsend, Newman, Hoffman, Vrooman, Brander, Roe (Rowe), Carll, Bruce, Stotler, Witcher (Wachter), Hayward, Pershorea, Bingham, Schnavely, Eckelbarger, Gennung, Mead Trimble, Petty, Greenfield, Henshaw, Timms, Rector, Michalucine, Leavell, Winn, Lindsey, Ransom, Estes, Fry, Hadley, Marshall, Ransom, Owen, Sandberg, Boss, Reddick, Wells, Peterson, Noble I am researching these branches of my family. If you have any information on the Kretsingers, Ransoms or Trimbles. I would love to hear from you. William W. Trimble, born in Harrison County, Ky in 1802 was the son of John Trimble, a revolutionary war soldier. He was on the pension rolls for PA. William W. Trimble came to Clinton County, Missouri about 1826. He was married to Margaret Fry of Clark County, KY into his 24th year. Leonidas W. Leavell, Princeton, Todd County, KY, born December 21, 1821, was the son of Lewis Livingstone Leavell and Frances Kirtley Bell. Frances was the daughter of Elizabeth Kirtley and Capt. John Bell. If you have any information on the Bell Family, please let me know. Leonidas married Harriett Winn, daughter of George C. and Emily Winn of Christian County, KY. He was a prominent man. I think that Emily might have been Emily Henderson. William Pinkney Owens originated from Beford Co. Tenn and married Eliza J. Bruce, Tenn. They had ten children. One of them is my ancestor, Joseph Know Owens married to Clara Elizabeth Vrooman. Her father was Samuel B. Carll of Port Huron, Michigan. His grandfather was a Carll, who married a woman with the last name of Paine. She supposedly was the sister of Thomas Paine. She first married a Dr. Blaisdell. He died and she was left with three children, one being Effie Blaisdell who married a Colonel Buttman. Samuel B. Carll was born in Hancock County, ME March 14, 1811. His first wife was Ann Wichter (Wachter) and second wife was Josephine Brown. He was a civil war veteran. I also am looking for Ransoms. Mindwell Ransom married Enoch Rector in 1824. Her Daughter was Patsy Rector married to Joseph Harrison Timms. I believe that the Timms and Rectors came from Wood County, VA in 1856 to Clay County, Missouri. This is my mother side of the family. I married a Ransom, who is decendent from Robert C. Ransom, married Sophronia Reddick. Robert's father was Ignatious Ransom, Kentucky. |
