The Lenyo family were Ukrainians living in Austria in the 1800's but an area that is now Poland. They lived near the extreme southeastern point of Poland near the San River. Towns associated with them and their relatives include Stuposiany, Tworylne, Przemysl, Sanok, Hulskie, and Usteka Gorne. The names in the family include Jachwak (later Jackman), Potasznik, Mucha, and Socart. "Cryani" names include Machita, Bycanish, Michko, Linko, Marycz, Busovicki or Bushavesky, Samota, Krynick, Kowalcyk, Lipinsky, and Smarsh. Most of my information comes from oral family history, but I do have a few documents from the late 1800's. |
