Pierre Lavigne was a soldier in the Louisiana Province.
The exact spelling of the surname of his wife because in various records it is spelled Tien, Tiensa, Estinenne, Keine, and King.
According to the 6 June 1721 census report, Pierre and his wife were living in the village of Apalaches, Pitit Ecor, in the Mobile area. Pierre was at that time a memberof De La Tour's company and was stationed at "Fort Conde De La Mobile".
At the time of his death in Mobile, he was a member of De Lusser's company. It is unknown is his wife survived him because no further records of her were found.
