I am looking for links to the Rattay and Groening families in Germany. Both sides of my husband's family came from the town of Ochriftel near Frankfort. His father's name is Rolf and his mother's name is Margot. Rolf's parents are Gunter and Marie, both deceased, who lived in Hammond, IN. Her grandparents were Heinrich and Christina Schmidt. Her mother was Margarete Schmidt. The family still operates the bakery in Ochriftel. |
