My Rathbun Family Genealogy Home Page

I am researching the Charles Rathbun family from Pennsylvania. Charles Rathbun first appears in the 1880 Ohio census, but his record indicates that he and both his parents were from Pennsylvania. I don't know where they were before that. He married Barbara Speck in Toledo, Ohio in 1879, and they had two children: Ada and Henry John. Henry married Helen Hagemeister between 1905 and 1915. They are my grandparents on my fathers side.

In addition, I'm researching the Buchanan, Swanson, Durham. Moore, Keeran, Lynch, Baumberger, Overly, Gray, Jewell, VanScoder, McNeil, Sheppard, Kigar and Frederick families, mostly from or ending in the Wood County, Ohio area. Those from other areas include the Gilbert Buchanan family from North Beaver Twp, Lawrence County, PA.; John Leo Swanson from Stockholm, Sweden; John A. Gray from Isle of Mann, England; Margaret Moore, Nathaniel Keeran and Eliza Lynch from PA.; and Elias Overly from Alsace Lorraine, France.
