Ann Bell (daughter of William Bell and Ann Jones) was born Abt. 1730 in Halifax Co., NC, and died 1771 in Edgecombe, NC. She married Francis Bythell Haynes on WFT Est. 1744-1765, son of Thomas III Haynes and ??? Unknown.

MRS. ANN SMITH was m. previously to RICHARD SMITH, then to FRANCIS BYTHELL HAYNES. I saw one record that states her name was ANN EATON SMITH. (BJBallard Note: Also a record stating that she was born 26 Jul 1755, but if she died in 1771, that would have made her very young and having already been previously married to Mr. Smith.)
