- Henry raybon's Application for a Social Security # (497 KB)
As you can see, according to the application Henry used his mother's name and listed Reed Williams (Red William)as the father. Even though it's spelled wrong other times he has said the name as Reed. He also listed his mother but wrote it in the wrong spot and erased the information and rewrote it. It appears he listed her as Katie which is short for Catherine.

- 1880 Madison County Florida Census (635 KB)
This census shows Katy (Catherine) Raiburn (Raybon) in the home of Robert Williams.(It is not uncommon for names to be spelled incorrectly or nicknames to be used especially when the person is not a family member)(also Katy's age fits w/ her age from the 1870 Census.)Henry's father has been reported as being Reed Williams. Although he is not in this household, it is a link between the 2 families.
