I'm researching the RAYMER, WEBB, HICKAM, RODGERS, CRAFT and BLACK names. The most recent family members lived in Carter County, Missouri but their families go back to Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Illinois. There were supposed to be three brothers, Michael RAYMER, Abraham RAYMER and Phillip RAYMER, who moved from Pennsylvania to Kentucky. Their father may have been Abraham RAYMER Sr. b.app 1730-1740 in Pennsylvania or even England or Germany. The three children were all born between 1760 and 1770. My family is descended from Michael. I can trace him back to a Michael RAYMER b.app 1770 in Bedford County, Penn, d.app 1885 in Grayson County, Kentucky and married Pretius Brown b.app 1785 in Ohio County, KY d.app 1840 in Grayson County, KY. If you have any information about Abraham RAYMER Sr. or any of the three brothers, especially Michael, please let me know. I have the Raymer Roots Newsletters Vol.2 No.1 & 2 online on my Web site at http://www.qsl.net/n9fyv/ I'm also trying to find the ancestors of John WEBB Sr. b.1795 in North Carolina who married Nancy b.app 1816 in Tennessee. They had 6 children, John (1821-1862), William (b.app.1828), Plesant M. (b.app.1840), Lorinda (b.app.1842), Tennessee P.(b.app.1846) and Ora(b.app.1847). |
