      65. Nancy Sturgeon, born Abt. 1810 in VA; died Aft. 1860. She was the daughter of 130. Squire Sturgeon and 131. Nancy Moore.

[Source=1850 Pike Co., KY Cenus]: Matilda Clay and Andrew Clay lived with Andrew Akers and his wife, Mary Polly (Branham) Akers in 1850.

[Source=1860 Pike Co., KY Census]: Elizabeth Ray and one child lived with Andrew Akers and his wife Polly.

[Source=1870 Pike Co., KY Census]: Elizabeth Ray and three children lived with Andrew and Polly Akers.

[Source=1880 Pike Co., KY Census]: On the 1880 Pike Co. Census (After the death of Andrew), Mary Polly Akers listed the four Ray children as her grandchildren. (I don't know if it was true or she was trying to protect their reputation. Could the father have been her son James Wesley, instead of her husband, Andrew?)

[Source=Pike County Court Orders-1823]: Andrew Akers was found guilty of bastardy in February 1823; Re: A male child by Sarah May.

      66. Andrew Akers, born Abt. 1808 in VA; died Abt. 1875 in Pike Co., KY. He was the son of 132. John Akers and 133. Rebecca Ratliff. He met 67. Jane 'Jincy' Clay Abt. 1825.

      67. Jane 'Jincy' Clay, born Bet. 1804 - 1805 in VA; died Aft. 1870 in Johnson Co., KY. She was the daughter of 134. Jourdan Clay and 135. Mary Carter.

[Source=1840 Lawrence Co., Ky Census]: Jane Clay first appears on the census as the head of a household in 1840 Lawrence Co., KY. Listed were one female 20-30, (Jane is 35); One male <5, (Andrew J. is 5); 3 females 5-10, ( Rebecca was 11, Lucinda was 10, Matilda was 6,); and one female 15-20, (Lyddia was 13). Susanna was born in 1840 and Victoria in 1846.

This is just a guess that Mitchell was the son of Jane Clay.

I also found his first marriage date as 3 Aug, 1845.
