Henry Smith - M- Elizabeth "Lizzie" Staley 7-17-1801

The Smiths moved from Rowan & Randolph counties, North Carolins, about 1840 (To Marshall County). They met Joseph and Jane Hendrickson who came from DeKalb Co., TN about 1861. The Smiths, including their children settled on the waters of Soldier Creek. Lizzie Staley Smith lived 105 years and is buried beside Henry in Soldier Creek Cemetery.
