Updated September 6, 2000

Hello, My name is April Reardon and I am researching the McDonald and Reardon Families. The McDonalds are in Ill, Tex and Col. They Married into the Rea Family from Ill and Tenn. The Reardon Family is from Ohio and points East. They married into the Gauggle Family. We need the most info on the Reardons and the Gauggles but will gladly accept info on any of the above names. Some specific names I am particularly interested in are; Oscar L Stroud b.1869 He married Alpha Akins and lived in north Ga and Ala. around the late 1800's and early 1900's. It seems he was born a Stroud but used his step-fathers name which was Holt. His children appear to be divided on the issue as some use Holt and some use Stroud. He had a step-brother, John M Holt. Joseph A McDonald b.1804 His son, Stephen A McDonald b. 03-04-1845 Grandson, Albert McDonald b. 1871 Gr-grandson William McDonald - my grandfather. I need to know if Joseph A McDonald could be the same as Alexander J Mcdonald son of Magnus Mcdonald b. abt.1750. John Adams b. 1800 He m. Mary Perry b. 1806 and had nine children. I need to find both of their parents. John James Rea b. 1720 in Ireland He m. Johanna/Hannah Hasty and had eight children. Any info on parents is appreciated.
