REARDON - ELSLIGER FAMILY HOME PAGE

Updated May 15, 2004

We are researching the 'REARDON - ELSLIGER" FAMILIES GENEALOGY to be used in conjunction with a First Cousins gathering held Sunday May 17th, 1998 at the West Side Social Club in Wakfield, MA. The successful gathering was held with close to 100 in attendance and plans are now underway for the full family to gather in the year 2004. Following the funeral of Florence Reardon (McShane) the last of Caroline and Michael's children) it was decided that it might be a good idea for all of us to get together at a time other than funerals. Of the original 32 cousins, there are only 18 remaining. It was the consensus that the initial gathering be limited to the remaining 18 surviving cousins with the ultimate desire and goal to plan a Family Reunion of all generations at another time and location in the near future. Our research to date concludes that Michael Reardon was a first-generation Irish-American, and Caroline Elsliger, a New Brunswick emigre. We have yet to determine Caroline's ancestry as Dutch or German origin. The research has thus far found over 900 names and the study goes on. Family members are urged to e-mail or fax any family history to me prior to contributing the FAMILY RESEARCH to the Internet.

PLANS ARE NOW UNDERWAY FOR ANOTHER FAMILY GATHERING IN 2004
