My name is Sue Reading. I have been searching for ancestors related to Manuel Gonsalus who arrived in Sullivan County, New York in the mid to late 1600's. Some of his family moved to Central PA. in the mid 1700'sI have also been searching for ancestors related to Seth Connor Brown from Gordonsville Virginia. He was in the Virginia 13th Infantry during the Civil War and was captured retreating from Petersburg on April 4th,1865.He was in Point Lookout Prison until June 1865.
I am interested in John Jacka who was born at Lands End, Cornwall, England and came to Huntingdon County PA.in 1870.
The names of Wilson,Shingler, Booher and Jacka from Huntingdon County, PA. and a Susan Depew from near Harrisburg(born about 1828) are of interest.
