The Schumann-Kartes, Carlson Home Page of Minnesota

Welcome, I am searching for information on the Schumann-Kartes History. Wendelin Schumann b. 1820 somewhere in Germany. Married Thersea Stierstoffer (unsure of spelling)b. Feb. 26, 1825, in Germany. Their children were: Frank, Antonia, Theresa, Eva, Aloysius, & Joseph (my Great grandfather)- he married Margarete Kartes. Their children are Raymond, Chryl Hubert, Wilbert A., Margaret, John, Mary Anistasia, Geroge Vendyln, Lauretta Johanna (my grandmother) she married Joseph Mulvey and had Margaret Marilyn Mulvey-Carlson.

On the Carlson side- they lived in Oak Park Heights, MN. Parents Bernard Carlson married Mathilda House of WI. Children are: John (dec.), William (dec.), Marie (dec.) Donald, Harriet, & Robert.
