We are researching the McLaughlin family who we believe originated in Ireland, probably Derry. We believe this family came to PA then Ohio then Iowa and then Kansas. We have not been able to locate them on a census prior to 1860 in Iowa. We know the family was in Ohio previous to this. In addition, we are researching the Milbrad family from MN and Germany. August Milbrad was born in Prussia in about 1835 and came to this country in 1859 to WI and then moving on to MN. He was married to Mary Jane Williams. In addition, we are researching the Heuck family who we can trace back to Frederick Otto Heuck and Nellie Melhuish in San Diego in the 1860s. This family joins the Elder/Hoag line through the marriage of Barbara Elder and Herbert Otto Heuck in abt. 1930. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
