Cemetery:                     AMERSFOORT (OLD LEUSDEN) GENERAL CEMETERY

Country: Netherlands

Location: Amersfoort is a town lying 50 kilometres south-east of Amsterdam, and 22 kilometres north-east of Utrecht. The cemetery is about 2.5 kilometres from the railway station, in an area known as Oud Leusden. The graves are in a special plot, well sited among trees.

Country: France

Locality: Pas de Calais

Location Information: Bethune is 29 kilometres north of Arras. From the town centre of Bethune, turn right in front of the Tribunal and second right at the bottom of the road down to the cul-de-sac where the cemetery will be found.

Country: France

Locality: Pas de Calais

Location Information: Ecoust-St-Mein is a village between Arras, Cambrai and Bapaume. HAC Cemetery is about 800 metres south of the village on the west side of the D956 road to Beugenatre.

Locality: unspecified

Location Information: The Helles Memorial stands on the tip of the Gallipoli Peninsula. It takes the form of an obelisk over 30 metres high that can be seen by ships passing through the Dardanelles.

Locality: Pas de Calais

Location:   Loos-en-Gohelle is a village about 5 kilometres north-west of Lens.

The Loos Memorial forms the side and back of Dud Corner Cemetery where over 1,700 officers and men are buried, the great majority of whom fell in the Battle of Loos. Dud Corner Cemetery, which stands almost on the site of a German strong point, the Lens Road Redoubt, captured by the 15th (Scottish) Division on the first day of the battle, is located about 1 kilometre west of the village, on the N43, the main Lens to Bethune road.

 

Cemetery:                    MOOK WAR CEMETERY

Country: Netherlands

Location:  Mook is a village on the main road from Nijmegen to Venlo and Maastricht, 11 kilometres south of Nijmegen. The War Cemetery lies on the road from Mook to Groesbeek. From the A73 motorway take the exit at the junction Overasselt Mook Groesbeek. Follow the N271 towards Mook village itself from which the cemetery is signposted, the Cemetery being situated on the Groesbeekseweg.

Country: United Kingdom

Locality: Lancashire

Visiting Information: ROCHDALE CEMETERY, on the Bury road, belongs to the Corporation. It was opened in 1855, and it covers nearly 33 acres. It contains 73 scattered War Graves, and a War Cross is erected near the Chapel, facing the main drive. The Dearnley (War) Hospital, with 800 beds, was established in the Rochdale Poor Law Hospital building. ROYTON URBAN DISTRICT.

Location: The Tyne Cot Memorial to the Missing forms the north-eastern boundary of Tyne Cot Cemetery, which is located 9 kilometres north east of Ieper town centre, on the Tynecotstraat, a road leading from the Zonnebeekseweg (N332).

 Location: Villers-Bretonneux is a village 16 kilometres east of Amiens on the straight main road to St Quentin. The Memorial stands in Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, which is about 2 kilometres north of the village on the east side of the road to Fouilloy.

Country: France

Locality: Pas de Calais

Location: Vis-en-Artois and Haucourt are villages on the straight main road from Arras to Cambrai about 10 kilometres south-east of Arras. Within the grounds of Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery, which is west of Haucourt on the north side of the main road, will be found the Vis-en-Artois Memorial.

 

Cemetery:                     WARLOY-BAILLON COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION

Country: France

Locality: Somme

Location:  Warloy-Baillon is a village about 21 kilometres north-east of Amiens along the D919 to Arras. The Communal Cemetery is on the east side of the village and the extension is on the eastern side of the cemetery.
