Family Tree of Jack Raymond RedmanUpdated March 8, 2002 |
|
| I am researching my family: Redman, Six, Clagett, Wince, Burke, Marriott, Newcomer and the rest. My father, Jack Redman was an ordinary American. This is an ordinary American family. This tree is a small part of the 38,000 names we know. Not all the information on its more remote members has been documented; some of it is almost certainly inaccurate. All its many founders were immigrants. One came on one of the Mayflower's companion ships. Some members were almost surely slave owners; some fought and died to save the Union; one was awarded the Iron Cross for his service in the German Army during World War I, immigrated to the U.S. and supported his new country during World War II; some came from France by way of Canada; some came from Italy in the great migration of the early 20th Century; World War II created a branch in Japan, Jack Redman was one of the liberators of Auschwitz. I am convinced that this family contains members of all the world's races, from nearly all the world's nations. Corrections and additions will be appreciated. I look forward to extending and sharing my family's history. |
