I am continuing a 23 year search for my families and my husband's families.
TUCKER familes from England to Va and NC then to Georgia,on to Marshall, Giles and Lincoln Cos, TN. After the Civil War they went to West Tennessee. Some went on to Ark. Associated families were ELLIS, KENNEDY, OVERALL, WRIGHT, FREEMAN.

My maternal families include DUNN, MCCORD, GORDON, ROBERSON, WHITEHURST, HUTCHISON, ARNOLD, BEASLEY. DUNN and WHITEHURST were NC families. DUNN ancestor went to Hickman Co, TN, from Beaufort Co., NC. MCCORD goes back to York Co., South Carolina, from Hickman Co. Other lines named were long time Hickman Co. area families.

REED family is Pa. Dutch from Palatine area of Germany. ECKERT, STRUNK were related lines. REED family left Berks Co., Pennsylvania, after Civil War and settled in West Bend, Indiana, then to Helena, Arkansas. To Tennessee in early 1900's. Related lines are FISHER, JEWELL, and BLOOD in Tennessee.

My husband's maternal lines include FIELDS, GILES, MORGAN families from Kentucky and Tennessee.

I have one living grandparent who is 87 years old. I want to find her families as soon as possible, so I need to add to my MCCORD, GORDON, AND ROBERTSON families as soon as I can.
