| This is the first installation of thirty-something years of research on the families of my parents and those of my husband. This first information is that of Odie McKinley Dunn, my maternal grandfather. He married Mattie Pearl McCord. Both were born and grew up in Hickman Co., Tennessee. They left most of their families and moved to West Tennessee with their three young daughters, Alma Mae, Margaret Alene Ruth, and Sarah Alice. Two other daughters, Sadie Pearl and Billie Jo, were soon born. Today their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren are a tribute to their lives. |
