Hello, This is a homepage for information on the Reed family.
I am starting with James Reed who was born around Antrim County, Ireland in about 1756 and was a Revolutionary War soldier, and came to the U.S. and settled somewhere around in Delaware and then moved to Harper's Ferry, Va. and the on to Ohio. He died in Poland, Ohio in 1836. He served under Captain Armstrong, Colonel Mongomery, Captain Sample and Colonel Hubley. He was in the battles at Brandywine and Paoli.
