I am researching the family John Reed b.1830 died 2/28/1859 married Adelle Havens on 7/4/1850 in Biloxi, Mississippi. He was a lighthouse keeper on Ship Island, Mississippi. He may have come from South Carolina. The surnames of his descendents include: REED, REID, HAVENS, MURRAY, LOMBARD, HARBISON, BRADLEYand FAIRCHILD.
