Mary Ellen Dickinson (daughter of Isaiah P. Dickinson) was born May 11, 1833 in Louisville, Bullitt Co., Kentucky, and died November 03, 1919 in Turman Twp., Sullivan Co., Indiana. She married Henry Wheeler Ingersoll on September 21, 1858 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana.

Buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Turman Twp., Sullivan Co., IN. Becky (Reed) Shuttz went to this cemetery in 1997 and found the grave site and took a picture of the head stone and it clearly showed the birth & death dates of both Henry & Mary.

I found a John S. Dickinson in the Broderbund 1830 Census Index for Bullitt Co., Kentucky, Pg. 116 in Mount Washington. Jefferson, Spencer, Nelson, Larue, Hardin, & Meade are surrounding counties. There is also a Buckner Dickerson in the North District in the 1830 Census Pg. 126 and a Sam Dickinson in the City of Louisville, Pg. 102 in Jefferson Co., Ky.
