My branch of the Reeve family originated in the village of Lyng in Norfolk, quite early on another substantial branch of the family was formed in Swanton Morley, and I have traced them back to one Charles Reeve born in Lyng in about1714. I am interested in any of the other branches, one of which was formed when four adults and ten children emigrated to Canada in 1836. I am also intrigued as to when, the "Reeves" split from te "Reeve"family they appear to be completely different "Tribes. Most people I have met with the same surname as myself originate from Norfolk, it would be interesting to find out where it all started.
