REED and HETTES lines were concentrated in Wayne Co. PA during 1800's and 1900's. COMSTOCK and JONES centered around Lackawanna & Luzerne Counties in north eastern Pennsylvania.

Both the REED and COMSTOCK lines originated in England and came to CT. before migrating to PA. JONES emigraed from Wales , while HETTES came from Bavaria and/or Germany.

Would like to correspond with fellow researchers and share information. I am an amatuer, but believe in documenting sources

My HOT LIST:

Richard Duane REED b. 15 June, 1858 in Honesdale, Wayne County , PA. m. Mamie GERRY, b. about 1860 d. June 11, 1892

Together Richard and Mamie conceived the following children:

William Henry Reed b. 28 July, 1890 in Honesdale, Wayne County, PA. d. 21 april, 1968 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA.
Richard D. G. Reed
John E. Reed
Mabel Reed
Nancy Reed

These names, although very near in my tree, have little bigraphical or historical information. I would love to expand my knowledge of my entire ancestry, but especially these few.

Susan BROWNLEE (my wife) is researching her family ( BROWNLEE, SHULER, SINGLETARY, MUCKENFUSS) centered in lower SC (Dorchester, Bleckley, Colleton, Chareleston counties). Current focus is 1850 to present
