2. JACOB² REEVES (HARVEY¹) was born November 18, 1842 in Madison County, Kentucky, and died March 1891 in Burgin Mercer County, Kentucky. He married MARTHA GENTRY, daughter of BRIGHT GENTRY and CYNTHIA MORNING. She was born October 4, 1839 in Madison County Kentucky, and died August 1887 in Burgin Mercer County, Kentucky.

This information found in the 1880 Census of Madison County, Kentucky all children shown except for Joseph who was born in 1881, his dates were given by his daughter Lucy Ellen Reeves. Found Jacob and brothers in the 1880 Census of Madison County living with parents, 1860 all three were living with Bailey Gentry who was the uncle of Martha Gentry. Think the Reeves were related to Gentry before Jacob and Martha were married, Bailey the brother of Bright B. Gentry had an uncle marry a Reeves in Virginia, lived only three houses from the Turpin family.

Martha Gentry Occupation; 1860 Weaver and Spinner
1860 U.S. Census shows Martha living with Solomon Turpin and his family with Kitty Gentry, William Lamb, David Gentry, not sure who Kitty is, William may be the son of Fannie Gentry the sister of Martha that married a Thomas Lamb.
Looking to see if maybe the indians were mad at that time, becouse a lot of people who are in the 1850 Census, are not there in the 1860 Census. Something has happened, don't think they would move and leave their children.
