After the wedding ceremony, Mr. And Mrs. Henry Bergman entertained with a reception in the church basement. The reception room was decorated with white. Silver wedding bells draped the windows. The bride's table was centered with a lovely three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. Other decorations on the table were two crystal bowls of white carnations and candelabra with white burning tapers.
Presiding at the gift table were Miss Freda Bergman, Mesdames Elmer Schwindt, Raymond Lehr and Andrew Sproul.
Miss Maybelle Outhier took charge of the wedding cake after the bride cut the first piece. Miss Lena Bergman, sister of the bride, kept the guest book.
A short program was given consisting of numbers by Maybelle Outhier, Mary Helen Jantzen, Mrs. Ralph Boyce, Harry Culver, Raymond and Clyde Ewing after which refreshments of ice cream and wafers were served to a large number of guests. The young couple received many lovely and useful gifts.
