I am researching the Howard Bradford Reed family who had their origins in England; came to this country by way of Plymouth, MA and settled in the Kingston, Duxbury area of that state in the early 1600's. They were istrumental in the early fastener manufacturing trades: starting with tacks and nails and progressing to screws, bolts and thread rolling equipment.

Much of the data collected to date comes from hand-me-down bits that have been catalogued over the last three generations. Much has yet to be confirmed by multiple sources - so names and dates may be questionable.

I am happy to share what I have and to receive feedback on what you find here-in.
